Kelsi Schnitter is a dance instructor, community builder and mentor with 18 years of teaching experience. Dance became a part of her journey at the age of four. She trained in Hip Hop fundamentals/choreography and Jazz from ages 4 to 18 under Valerie Dawn, who is now the Owner of Encore Performing Arts Center in Beaverton, Oregon. 

In 2009 she graduated from Arts and Communications Magnet Academy in Beaverton, Oregon where she studied and rehearsed Jazz, Tap, Modern and Ballet dance styles. September 2018, she began teaching youth hip hop dance for Portland Parks and Recreation. She currently teaches for Multnomah Arts Center, Charles Jordan Community Center & Faubion SUN School.

Creating a positive, fun, and structured space for the growth of our community is her consistent goal. If you believe in yourself and your abilities, with lots of focused work and dedication you can accomplish anything. Cheers to movement!
