This film is centered around the idea of identity from an artist's perspective. Specifically, when the art begins to slowly encapsulate all aspects of their life, portraying when the art dictates who the artist is, versus the artist dictating their art. All of the struggles that artists go through when trying to distinguish their voice leaves us with the question, how do we artists have an identity apart from the art that we produce? How do we not let it take over our lives? Do we leave it? Do we learn to love it in a different way? This film encourages the viewer to not only think about these questions, but to ponder the theme within their own lives and answer according to their own journeys.
