WE (BEREAVED) ARE NOT ALONE

The way we humans process the grief of losing a loved one is unique and different to every person on the planet and the journey to acceptance is nothing more than that; a journey. I've learned that within the grief process, the family, friends, and support system you've built makes it easier to deal with every day, but at times that community can and will make you feel heavier rather than lighter. Everyone goes home, some move on, and some fight over ownership of THINGS that weren't left to them. Some say sorry. Some don’t. It's too much. Feeling alone within a group of people experiencing the same thing as you, you'd think it’d be easier, but it’s not. This is what my grief looks like.
